UK Government CPNI

Remtech has been providing tested and approved construction solutions to protect UK Government assets from forced attack since 2004. ModuSec system options were first tested by The Home Office testing unit (PSDB now CAST) to protect Protectively Marked information and computer/electronic equipment to the SEAP standard to be included within the approved Catalogue of Security Equipment (CSE). The system was also evaluated as able to satisfactorily withstand explosive blast effect, provided the room was not exposed to the primary blast wave (i.e. the room should be enclosed within a building or be provided with secondary cladding).

Since that time Remtech (RCS) has developed options to specifically meet increasing CPNI security standards, as more powerful cutting tools have reached the market. The latest being ModuSec GS. For details of the current standard please refer to CPNI or your security advisor.

Remtech has many years of providing approved high security UK Government solutions and over 30 years of building fire protected environments – particularly in the IT sector. Every project is different and often requires unique solutions. We have built many projects from small storage rooms to 3000m2 data centres - as rooms within buildings to outside construction in a variety of architectural styles. For these projects, we are able to both manufacture and install total in-house solutions, to include not only the panels (walls, ceilings, etc) but support steelwork, doors, roof, rainwater good and many custom items that these high security projects require – such as security grilles. Our experience is unparalleled in providing CPNI modular construction solutions to UK Government, MOD, MOD contractor, Nuclear and other Critical National Infrastructure sites - meeting both CPNI and JSP440 requirements. Hence we can offer help and advice on every aspect of the build to meet the required security standard – to end users, architects and main contractors - in the planning stage and during the build. General contractors often have no experience in this niche security market – but our design office and in-house installation team are always on hand to help and provide expert advice from many years of experience. This includes advice on integrating M & E to meet the required standard.

For security reasons, we cannot provide specific examples of our CPNI work. However any of the projects illustrated in the Projects Gallery and for any use (e.g. secure storage, workshops, test areas and IT environments, etc.) can be built using the ModuSec GS panels or any of the LPS 1175 forced attack options SR1 to SR5. Note that ModuSec is the only modular system to meet the LPS1175 SR5 standard for walls and enclosures built to any footprint size (with fully tested joints, connection details, door options, etc). So for high security large construction projects, Remtech and the ModuSec system is the obvious choice to provide a turnkey construction solution to guarantee meeting the required standard.
